The Living & Loving God

Dear Mosaic Family,

Do you know God? Of course, to know God, you must know about God. But knowledge about God is never enough, certainly not for obtaining eternal life. Knowledge about God must translate into knowledge of God. Why? Because God isn’t a theorem. God isn’t a religion. God isn’t postulates and creeds. God isn’t Theology and God isn’t the Bible.

God is living and God is loving. Since God is living, to know Him truly is to obtain eternal life. As the Lord Jesus says in John 17:3, "And this is eternal life, that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent."

How do you know you know God? How do you know you have eternal life?

You love God. Because He’s the living and loving God. To know Him, means He has revealed Himself to you. He has revived your soul and resurrected your heart. You know Him, because He first knew you. You love Him, because He first loved you.

What a gift it is to be known by the living and loving God!

“This is momentous knowledge. There is unspeakable comfort in knowing that God is constantly taking knowledge of me in love, and watching over me for my good. There is tremendous relief in knowing that his love to me is utterly realistic, based at every point on prior knowledge of the worst about me, so that no discovery now can disillusion him about me, in the way I am so often disillusioned about myself. There is equally great incentive to worship and love God in the thought that for some unfathomable reason, he wants me as his friend, and desires to be my friend, and has given his son to die for me in order to realize this purpose.” J.I. Packer, Knowing God.

To know and be known. Entirely—past, present, and future. And to be loved all the more. This is the deepest need of your soul.

Join us Sunday as we feast upon Mark 12:18-32.

Looking forward to worshiping with you!

Celebrate Baptism

This Sunday, April 7 at 12:30pm

Baptism symbolizes a believer’s union with Jesus Christ, who laid down His life and took it up again for us, so that we too might walk in the newness of life. Join us as we celebrate baptism together as a church during the end of the second service! You can learn more about baptism at Mosaic here.

Baptism Class

Sunday, April 28 at 1:00pm

We believe that Christian Baptism is the Baptism of a believer upon their profession of faith, into the name of the Father, and Son, and Holy Spirit; to show forth, in a solemn and beautiful sign, our faith in the crucified, buried, and risen Savior, with its effect in our death to sin and resurrection to a new life. If you are a Christian who hasn't been baptized, we'd encourage you to attend our baptism class.

Songs for Sunday

If you would like to know what we'll be singing on Sunday, you can find the playlist here.

Fundraising Goal

Right now, our church has a big goal—to raise $5 million for our own worship space. We believe every tongue will confess and every knee will bow to Jesus Christ. That’s why we want to establish a permanent church home in a global city, where God’s people from far and wide can learn about the living God. Visit here if you would like to know more or donate to this goal.
