Happy 10th Birthday, Mosaic!

Dear Mosaic Family,

I asked my wife Tanya, how she felt about our 10th anniversary as a church. She said, "Well, I can't say the time flew by. It did and didn't." She's right.

Happy birthday Mosaic!
Wow, 10 years flew by.
Did they?!

Psalm 90:9-11
9 For all our days pass away under your wrath;
we bring our years to an end like a sigh.
10 The years of our life are seventy,
or even by reason of strength eighty;
yet their span is but toil and trouble;
they are soon gone, and we fly away.
11 Who considers the power of your anger,
and your wrath according to the fear of you?

And we fly away.
Soon gone.
Life is but toil and trouble.

It takes toil and trouble to fly.

Ever see the Regatta?
Ever see footage of a crew team?
Rowing so in sync, it looks like they’re gliding.
Looks like they’re flying.
Looks so ... effortless 🚣‍♀️

Do you know how hard it is to do that?
How much toil and trouble it takes?

Flying takes work, excruciating work.

Those 10 minutes flew by
Did they?!
Yeah, they flew by; why?

We were willing to do what it takes to fly.
Let’s make the next 10 fly faster.
Soli Deo Gloria.

Can't wait to celebrate tonight!
Also, the sermon tomorrow is on the tremendous text, 2 Corinthians 5:11-21.

Praying for you!

Pastor Jan
