New Series: Colossians

Dear Mosaic Boston Family,

What is the greatest country or kingdom on earth? What if I told you there was a kingdom where everyone was happy? Where no one had to work or pay taxes. Where there was an endless supply of amazing food, nonstop entertainment, and where anyone was welcome to become a citizen.

Sounds the happiest most magical place on earth, right? What if I told you in the center of the kingdom there was a beautiful castle where citizens could stand in line to meet their king, and at the end of that line...for a nominal fee…have their picture taken…with a dude…dressed like a mouse. *groan*

Mickey Mouse aside, I think deep down we all long for a perfect kingdom. We all long for a perfect king. And to a certain extent we’re all upset that neither of those seem to exist.

This week we begin a new sermon series going through the book of Colossians. In Colossians 1:13, Paul tells us that God “has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son.”

What if that perfect kingdom does exist? What if it’s breaking into our reality right now? What if we could be a part of it? Join us this Sunday as we dive into the book of Colossians and begin a new four-week series entitled, “Supernaturalization: Heavenly Citizenship for the Here and Now.”

Praying for you,
Pastor Shane
