#Blessed

Dear Mosaic Boston Family,

As of right now, a search for #blessed on Instagram shows 94.3 million posts. The pictures include people at the beach, working out, traveling, eating, which, come to think of it, pretty much encapsulates 95% of Instagram posts.

What is the blessed life? What do we mean when we say "God Bless America" as we'll hear over and over this week? What are you asking for, when you ask for God's blessings? How many of those "blessings" can be reduced to materialism? How many of our requests for "blessings" include jobs, money, or housing? Then, once we get those things, how long does our feeling of "blessedness" last, before we start asking for more?

What did Jesus mean when He talked about the "Blessed" life? Spoiler alert: it's not we we usually think of (actually pretty much the opposite)!! Join us tomorrow as we look at Luke 6:12-26, where Jesus turns our understanding of the blessed life upside down.

Praying for you,
Pastor Jan

Leaving Boston? Stay Connected!
If you're moving away this summer and want to get plugged into another spiritual family like Mosaic, we recommend finding a church through The Gospel Coalition website or Acts29 website.

We've updated the Mosaic app! Keep up with church-wide happenings in our Mosaic Boston app. Find sermons and events, write a prayer request, give, or read the Bible. Search “Mosaic Boston” in the App Store or Google Play, or download here.

Give to Fund the Mission. Giving is a joyful and sacrificial act of worship to our Lord, who has given everything to us and for us. The easiest way to give your tax-deductible gift is through our secure portal on our website, found here.

Love Mosaic? Let people know! We would love it if you could take a minute to like/rate us on some social media sites, which makes it easier for others to find us when they are searching for a church in Boston!
